Cambodian Minister of Foreign Affairs encourages Türkiye companies to seek investment opportunities in Cambodia

On the occasion of the official visit to the Republic of Türkiye on May 27, Deputy Prime Minister Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,encouraged Türkiye companies to seek investment opportunities in Cambodia.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation’s news issued on May 29, Deputy Prime Minister Sok Chenda Sophea and Mustafa TUZCU, Deputy Minister of Trade of Türkiye, jointly addressed the Cambodia-Türkiye Business Luncheon, which was attended by over 30 company Representatives.

“The Deputy Prime Minister encouraged Türkiye companies to seek investment opportunities in Cambodia in potential fields, such as tourism, agriculture, agro-processing, logistics, hotel management and construction,” the ministry added.

It continued that at the exacttime, the Cambodia Foreign Affairs Minister also encouraged those companies to choose Cambodia as a gateway to expand their investment in Southeast Asia – a vast market under the framework of the existing ASEAN Free Trade Area and Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).
