Cambodia and France exchange two MoUs on trade and education

Dr. Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, presided over the opening ceremony of the three-day France-Cambodia Business Forum, held at the Sofitel Phokeethra Phnom Penh this morning.

The opening ceremony also saw the exchange of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia on the promotion of trade and investment between Cambodian and French enterprises, as well as French-speaking enterprises.

The second MoU is between the University of Puthisastra and the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Cambodia on the support of health education and training.

Prime Minister Hun Manet expressed strong hope that Cambodia and France will continue this important tradition to deepen relations within our business community and create mutually beneficial opportunities for future generations.

With Cambodia’s great economic outlook, “French businessmen will be able to see a wide range of opportunities in the field of Cambodian business and investment, while my official visit to Paris earlier this year has brought many fruitful results,” the premier said.
