LAHORE: After rescinding the seat adjustment talks with PML-N, the Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain-led PML-Q has started openly supporting PPP’s Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari in the race for National Assembly’s constituency, NA-127 Lahore.
PML-Q, led by Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, announced support for PPP’s Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari in the NA-127 constituency against PML-N’s Attaullah Tarar. Sarwar called Bilawal the “future of the country” and urged PTI to support him, suggesting it as a diplomatic move against PML-N. Sarwar emphasized that his decision was based on Bilawal’s merit and performance, spanning 40 years of relations with the Bhutto family. PML-Q also withdrew its candidates from NA-117, PP-145, and PP-146 in favor of Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party candidates.
