- Previously, the judge decided to hear Khan’s bail petitions without his virtual attendance from Adiala jail.
- On August 11, 2023, an ATC dismissed Khan’s pre-arrest bail due to his non-appearance following his conviction in the Toshakhana case. However, the Lahore High Court set aside this decision, restoring his bail petitions and directing the trial court to decide on merit.
