PM to pay 5-day visit to South Korea

The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Dr. Hun Manet, will lead a high-level delegation to pay a five-day official visit to the Republic of Korea from May 15–19 at the invitation of Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on May 13, the Prime Minister and Dr. Pich Chanmony Hun Manet will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol, First Vice President of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, Deputy Prime Minister Sok Chenda Sophea, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, as well as key government officials and representatives from the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold bilateral meetings with President Yoon Suk Yeol, discuss in-depth partnerships, and expand multi-sectoral cooperation to take the two countries’ relations to a new level.

The two leaders will preside over the signing ceremony of a number of documents related to economic development and infrastructure.

Prime Minister Hun Manet will also have separate meetings with Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and National Assembly President Kim Jin-pyo. He will also attend the Cambodia-Republic of Korea Business Forum, meet with a number of major Korean companies, and meet with the Cambodian community in the Republic of Korea.
