Dr. Kao Thach, Royal Government Delegation in Charge of Director General of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives (BAAC), represented by Mr. Chedtha Laeping, Senior Deputy Director General of BAAC, on May 29, 2024, at the headquarters of BAAC Bank, Bangkok, Thailand.
The signing of the MoU marks another milestone for ARDB in expanding international cooperation. The MoU has two main objectives, including:
1. Strengthen the capacity of staff and institutions between the two institutions.
2. Share information and experiences related to sustainable financing in the context of the development of agricultural production chains to contribute to socio-economic development.
The collaboration will also enable further scrutiny of access to green financing, credit risk management, and cross-border payment transactions under both banking frameworks and regulations.
